Players will frequently hear and finally come across the Grand Lift of Dectus while travelling the Lands Between in Elden Ring

Activating the Grand Lift of Dectus is required and possible because a lift isn’t a lift unless it works. Users will require the Left Dectus Medallion and the Right Dectus Medallion to do so.
The Grand Lift of Dectus is activated with both Dectus Medallions in possession, and will transport Elden Ring gamers to Altus Plateau.

Where To Find Left Dectus Medallion
Given its proximity to the start of the reader’s trip in Elden Ring, the Left Dectus Medallion may already be in their possession. Fort Haight is located on the east shore of Limgrave, on the edge of a cliff. Just southeast of Mistwood Ruins is where the Left Dectus Medallion may be found.
Players can enter Fort Haight and proceed to the left, up the stairwell, and then up the wooden stairs. At the top of the steps, turn right into a watchtower and ascend the ladder. The Left Dectus Medallion can be found in the neighbouring chest at the top of the watchtower.
Where To Find Right Dectus Medallion
The Right Dectus Medallion is located in the Caelid region, which is a little out of the way. To the east of Limgrave is this location. Users who are still in Fort Haight and have not yet visited Caelid can walk north along the shoreline until they reach the region. If players see a glowing Erdtree off in the distance, they’re on the right track.
Dragonbarrow is home to Fort Faroth. If that seems frightening, it’s because this location is home to dragons. To avoid them, readers should stay on Torrent. Fort Faroth is located somewhat south of the glowing Erdtree on the map.

While within Fort Faroth, players must use caution. It has flying opponents, poison, and is difficult to see. They should proceed to the left after entering until they reach a watchtower. Climb to the top of the ladder and take the Right Dectus Medallion from the chest nearby.
Both medallions can be used if the user returns to the Grand Lift of Dectus. The lift will open and transport them to the Altus Plateau.
